Need a ring bear-er?
A large bear rudely interrupted a couple’s marriage proposal in a park and now the internet is roaring.
The furry friend made a cameo during Ricardo Morales’ elaborate proposal to Cecilia Canabal in the Chipinque Ecological Park in Cerro de Chipinque, Nuevo Leon State, Mexico last week. Luckily, no one was harmed.
In a hilariously stunning clip, Morales is down on one knee, popping the question to his now-fiancée in front of rose petals and light-up letters that read “marry me” — only to have the bear stampede into the scene.
“The incident took place just after the ‘yes’ when I was going to put the ring on her finger,” Morales told Jam Press.
“That’s when we heard the waiters/gardeners tell us ‘don’t be afraid.’”

Upon turning around, they spotted a “giant shadow” approaching them “climbing up the terrace steps.”
“We told each other ‘don’t move,’ which is why we’re static in the video when the bear passed. It then climbed over a wall and went into a garden,” he continued.

The couple remained “static” as the bear waltzed through their special moment, and after it finally passes, Canabal said, “yes.”
In the now-viral clip with more than 340,000 views and 2,000 likes, users can see the bear strolling past the nearly engaged couple right after Morales drops to his knee with Canabal’s hand in his.

The video prompted a few jokes about ring bearers, with others calling the moment truly “unforgettable.”
“Wasn’t the bear wearing the ring?” quipped one person.
