JEREMIAH Duggar and fiancée Hannah Wissmann are set to tie the knot this weekend and teased fans with a photo of their marriage certificate ahead of the big day.
Jeremiah posted a photo of himself and Hannah holding the document, captioning it, “One step closer to forever with you!!”
The couple announced their engagement earlier this year, before the date of the celebration leaked online.
Jeremiah and Hannah have been quite open with their affection, too, as they shared a snap including a bit of PDA recently.
Jeremiah’s dad, Jim Bob Duggar, has many controversial and strict rules for his kids ranging from abstinence, to banning the use of birth control, to even not allowing them to get tattoos or read romance novels.

The celebration comes as Josh Duggar’s sentencing court date has been delayed by two months, as he faces 20 years in prison for child pornography charges.
Josh, 34, was found guilty of possessing and receiving child pornography on December 9 after a nearly two-week trial.

According to People, Josh’s legal team said: “Additionally, because of certain reasonable COVID-19 precautions understandably instituted at the jail at which Duggar is being detained, it has been more difficult scheduling meetings with Duggar than during more ordinary times.
“Finally, while defense counsel can and would be available for the current sentencing date, certain scheduling issues arising out of unrelated cases would be more easily resolved if this Court were to grant the requested continuance.”

Why was Josh’s sentencing delayed?
According to Showbiz Cheatsheet, the defense wants “additional time to pursue additional information and documentation.”
Josh’s defense team also argued that coronavirus had a factor in the decision to postpone the sentence, according to The Hill.
Due to the pandemic, the defense argued it was “more difficult scheduling meetings with Duggar than during ordinary times.”
They went on to say that with the extension, schedule concerns will be “would be more easily resolved.”

Josh was arrested in April 2021 and convicted in December 2021, however, his sentence date was originally set for April 2022, reports Distractify.
According to People, Josh’s legal counsel requested that the date be pushed back to late May 2022.
Josh’s legal team requested the date change, according to court records acquired by the site since they were unable to meet with him owing to Covid-19 safety procedures and scheduling concerns.
Josh faces up to 20 years in prison for each of the two offenses for which he was found guilty.
