A WOMAN split opinion when she shared the dress she bought for her cousin’s wedding day – she admits it’s a ‘wedding dress’, but some say she should wear it anyway.
TikTok user Del showed the dress off to her followers and received plenty of advice about whether or not she should wear it to her cousin’s big day.

She said: “When you accidentally buy a wedding dress for your cousin’s wedding.”
In the caption, she added: “SOS much larger than anticipated, cannot wear it to my cousin’s wedding.”
The dress is pale pink and has puff sleeves and a princess-style skirt, which could be attention-grabbing.
The clip racked up 108,000 views and dozens of commenters weighed in on what Del should do.
Some didn’t see any issue at all with Del wearing the dress to a wedding.
“It doesn’t look like a wedding dress at all, you look amazing”, said one commenter.
Another wrote: “If it’s pink, why can’t you wear it?”
One simply added: “WHY NOT?”
Plenty of commenters said she should just ask the bride for her opinion.
“I would ask her!! I wanted people to wear fun things like this to my wedding and I LOVED IT”, advised one viewer.
Another added: “Talk to the bride.”
Some, however, thought that even asking would be rude.
“All the people saying to ask. DON’T! I’m a people pleaser and would say yes, but hate it. If you have to ask you know the answer!”, advised one commenter.
And plenty of people though Del shouldn’t wear the dress to her cousin’s wedding under any circumstances.
“It’s stunning but it’s definitely too wedding-y for someone else’s wedding”, said one viewer, and another added: “Just save it for another occasion.”
