How They Met: The couple met online and hit it off right away, talking about comic books and beer for hours. They dated for three years, and, in 2018, when they found themselves attending their third wedding in three months, Tim decided to propose. While dancing, Tim slipped off the ring that he was wearing and asked Kyle to marry him. After the initial surprise, Kyle said yes. The bride and groom also approved: They eventually became the officiants at Kyle and Tim’s wedding.
Ceremony & Reception: The couple refers to their wedding as their “jamboree.” They had to reschedule their date three times during the pandemic, so when the day finally arrived, emotions were high. It was the first time that many had gathered since the beginning of the pandemic. Walking into Majorette was an overwhelming experience for the couple. They created 200 small pennant flags for guests to wave as the newlyweds walked down the aisle. The reception included a two-woman production of “Defying Gravity.”
