Rav was so invested in proposing to Sadaf — and assured of the outcome — that he arranged for a photographer to accompany him to Paris. They were waiting for Sadaf as she walked on to the terrace of the penthouse suite in the Shangri-La Paris hotel.
Sadaf and Rav have known one another since they joined Peter Symonds College in Winchester as 16-year-olds. They lived close to each other on the outskirts of Southampton and met waiting for the school bus on their first day.
