Bharat and Dorris Godambe, the famous makeup and hairstylist duo recently gave their daughter a heart-warming bridal makeover.
This iconic hairstylist and makeup artist duo have worked with Bollywood stars for over four decades. Over the years, they have done celebrity makeovers to bridal makeups and several fashion shows also. After several projects, they decided to launch their own makeup line, “B&D” in 2005. Bharat had always aspired to launch his own fashion label and struggled since the age of 16 to enter the world of glitz and glamour.
For their daughter’s Sangeet celebrations, the duo put their best work across and Juhi’s whole look was phenomenal. Since her makeup was especially done by her father, it left a special mark in everyone’s heart. Bharat’s daughter Juhi Godambe posted a video on her Instagram, where this beautiful moment between the father, mother and daughter was captured. In the video, Juhi shared that in 28 years, this is the first time her father is doing her makeup. Bharat also shared that he has done Aishwarya Rai’s makeup but this time he gave his best because he wanted everything to be perfect for his daughter.
It was a simple yet snazzy look. With a mid-parted sleek hairdo styled with a pristine silver embellished headband and glittery eyeshadow with highlight touch-ups here and there, this look screamed perfection. It was a sentimental moment for the three of them but it touched thousands of hearts.
Juhi also captioned the video and wrote, “This is the most special moment of my life! Getting Hair & Makeup done by Bharat & Dorris, My Parents!!! I am so proud to be their daughter! My parents have been working as a hair and makeup artists for over 4 decades now, I’ve grown watching them transform faces, from movies to fashion shows and even brides. And today the day has come when my dad has done his daughter’s bridal makeup.”
She continued, “I’ve never seen my dad this nervous, although he didn’t show it but I know what every breath my dad takes means, so I knew how important this makeup was to him. I know growing up so many brides asked my parents will you be doing your daughters makeup one day at her wedding, and they always thought that day is years away. But now here we are.”
